Pet Odours Decontamination

We love our pets! But let’s face it, they do have odours and occasional accidents.

At Oliva Service carpet cleaning, rug hand-washing and upholstery cleaning, we offer a variety of odour control treatments. We can eliminate most pet odours, as well as: odours from infant and toddler accidents, "locker room" smells, rancid kitchen odours, musty mildew, and other unpleasant scents.

We use only the safest deodorizing agents available. Odour Control Concentrates may be used for treatment of problem areas. Our odour removal treatments can be applied in one of the following ways:

• Cleaning Solution
• Injection
• Spray
• Sub-Surface Extraction
• Area Fogging

Urine Removal Solution

Accidents happen and even though you can’t always see them, you can certainly smell them! That’s why we use Black Light inspection to locate otherwise invisible pet stains. We pre-treat the stain before starting the cleaning process.

We then treat the surface with a powerful decontamination product which loosens pet urine salts, making them easier to remove. We immediately follow with our deep cleaning process to remove as much urine as possible from the carpet fibres.

In severe cases, the urine may have penetrated both the carpet backing and the padding beneath. If necessary, your Oliva Service technician will pull back the carpet and padding to make sure you don’t have buried urine spots. This will prevent future pet odours.

The final step is a clean rinse, an extraction of both sides of the carpet and an application of a powerful decontamination solution. This carpet solution destroys any remaining bacteria and pet odours within the carpet or upholstered fibres.
